Travelling alone, loved the variety of breakfasts and delicious evening meals. Beautiful views from restaurant, foyer, and terrace. Friendly staff and a helpful proprietor. Left feeling relaxed and well taken care of. Will definitely return.

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel special and welcomed, just like in the reviews. Brett, the shift manager, was understanding and even gave us his personal phone number to reach him after hours. He even surprised us with extra treats for our late-night tea. The other staff members, like Tressie and chef Andy, were equally friendly and engaging. The location near Bassenthwaite lake was breathtaking, and we enjoyed a leisurely walk there. The amenities were great, and the food, especially the home-cooked bread and biscuits, were outstanding. Our room had every amenity we could ask for and was kept meticulously clean. We can't wait to return to this outstanding hotel.

The only minor inconvenience was the tight driveway entrance, but we were able to navigate it with preparation.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, but not too obtrusive. Room a bit small, but suited the purpose, which was to be out and about; comfortable conservatory that was good for relaxing. Food was excellent to the point of being memorable!

Wifi was slow.

Excellent quiet location with beautiful oulook from the terrace. It was nice to come back from a day out in the lakes , and relax over an excellent dinner, in friendly surroundings. The staff , especcailly Anthony and Adam made us feel very welcome and couldn't have been more helpful.

We were a bit disappointed in room 2 which did not really fit the description of 'superior room'. It was quite small and lacking any real view, with some lack of privacy from tables on the terrace just outside.

I had a lovely stay at a charming country house near Keswick. The food was exceptional, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. The room was clean and comfortable, with nice extras like homemade biscuits. Although the breakfast start time was slightly late, the staff kindly provided me with a packed lunch. The location was perfect for exploring the stunning northern lakes. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The value for money at Ravenstone Lodge Country House was excellent, and the room was cozy and comfortable. The location was stunning, with beautiful views and walking paths right at our doorstep. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout our stay.

One small improvement for the morning meal would be to have a greater variety of vegetarian options available.

Totally enjoyed my stay at Ravenstone Lodge, the staff were very good, food was excellent and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Luxurious room, huge bed with a designer bathroom. The breakfast was the biggest and best breakfast we had ever had in The Lakes. 10 out of 10.

This was a brilliant short break which was deeply relaxing. The food at the hotel was excellent, the staff very helpful and accomodation luxurious. We would recommend this hotel happily and are planning our next stay..
